Introduction

This novel series by Patora Fuyuhara and Familiar of Zero illustrator Eiji Usatsuka began being published in 2015. The original novel series is available in English from J-Novel Club.

Story

This is the beginning of your laid-back and fun life in another world!

The protagonist of our story ends up dying due to a mistake by God, and starts his new life in another world. All he has in this new world is his body that God powered up for him and his smartphone, which can be used even in the new world. By meeting a variety of people and gaining new friends, the protagonist learns the secrets of this new world.

Having received the treasure of ancient society,  the protagonist joins forces with the world’s carefree kings, and nonchalantly travels the land with his unique female companions.

Mochizuki Touya

A boy who arrived in another world. He’s a fairly decent, well-mannered guy. However, he will not hesitate to take action if someone precious to him is in danger.


Elze Silhoueska

A traveling adventurer who fights using the gauntlets on her hands. She’s the kind of person to act before talking. She’s the elder of the Silhoueska twins.


Linze Silhoueska

She and her elder twin sister were saved by Touya when they were about to get scammed. She’s a bit reserved, but sometimes shows just how strong her heart is. She’s the younger of the Silhoueska twins.


Kokonoe Yae

A samurai girl who traveled from the eastern country of Eashen for warrior training. She’s very serious and dedicated to her training. Also, she has a tendency to eat a lot.


Yumina Urnea Belfast

The princess of The Kingdom of Belfast. She is a polite girl who is always very princess-like, but her actions are bolder than one would expect. She currently accompanies Touya on his journey as his fiancée.


Sushie Urnea Ortlinde

The only daughter of the Ortlinde dukedom. She is saved by Touya when she is attacked by a lizardman.


Leen

The chief of the fairies. She appears very young, but has in fact lived for a very, very long time. According to her, she’s 612 years old. Leen is a prodigy when it comes to magic. She likes making fun of others. She can use all six types of magic except dark magic.


Paula

A stuffed bear that Leen made through a “program” that can move like it’s actually alive. Paula has been upgraded throughout the span of 200 years, and continues to move to this day.


Kohaku

The first of Touya’s summoned beasts. Called the “White Monarch,” Kohaku is the king of beasts and guardian of the west and central regions. In order to not stand out, he normally takes on the form of a baby tiger.
