This isn’t animated food—this is food you can eat.

We’ve seen a lot of collaboration food throughout the year, whether it be at amusement parks or limited-time cafes. Here’s five of the top items we’ve seen this year. Just note that this list, while not ranked in any particular order, has been chosen based mostly on appearance and concept, not taste—although taste has been taken into account for some.

Hiei’s Dragon of the Darkness Flame Pasta with Two Sauces

This dish is designed after Hiei’s special move, and was served at the J-World Tokyo indoor theme park’s limited-time Yu Yu Hakusho event. The white pasta is supposed to look like the bandages around Hiei’s arms, while the black squid ink pasta and mussels represent the Dragon of the Darkness. Not only does it look good as an anime dish, it just looks good as food.

Marmalade Boy “Chicken Marmalade Sandwich”

The Marmalade Boy sandwich uses the food in its name to deliver not just a conceptually sound chicken sandwich, but a delicious one at that. The manga-themed plate with the main character Miki holding marmalade and a wafer printed with her holding an orange stuck to a real orange (orange-ception, if you will) tops off this dish perfectly. This dish was available at Tokyo Sky Tree during its Ribon exhibit earlier this year.

It was a tough choice, but in the end, the Moo-Moo Milk won. This high-end drink composed of milk and fruit juice served with a real Moo-Moo Milk bottle brings fans right into the Pokémon world. It’s a little pricy, but just the way its served should be reward enough. It was available at department store Isetan’s limited-time cafe which also included a Master Ball ice cream sundae and Pokéball curry served with Pikachu rice.

Kirby’s Strawberry Chocolate Cake

This strawberry and white chocolate cake is the perfect pink to represent Nintendo puffball Kirby’s face. It can be eaten by two to four people, making it the perfect party food. This item was available for purchase during toy store Kiddy Land’s Kirby event earlier this year.

Come, Shenron! Spring Rolls

I don’t know what genius thought of this, but give them a raise! It was ingenious to mix shrimp rolls with cucumber to make the most delicious-looking dragon I’ve ever seen. I also don’t know what those Dragon Balls are made out of, but I’m willing to give them a try! This dish is available at the limited-time Dragon Ball Restaurant, which is currently open in Osaka, Japan, and will be available in Tokyo from January 15 to February 28.
