They’re bad-mouthed, they’re defiant, they’re Pop Team Epic. And now they’re on your shirts.
Pop Team Epic (also known in Japanese as Popute Pipikku—a title I can never remember or pronounce to save my life) has become somewhat of a meme amongst internet culture, even leaking into the Western side of the web. Its “give-no-craps” attitude is popular amongst fans, with the manga making bold parodies and dark humor not often seen in Japanese media.
Now, you can wear your love for this sarcastic comedy. Company arma bianca’s Japan-only online apparel site Amnibus has begun pre-orders for Pop Team Epic apparel, including neckties and shirts.
The Pop Team Epic necktie flooding with faces of the manga’s characters Popuko and Pipimi measures 145 cm in length (about 4.75 feet) and 7 cm in width (about 2.75 inches), and is made from 100 percent polyester. It will cost 4,980 yen (about USD $45). Pipimi is obviously pissed off for only getting one image on the entire tie.
The Popuko graphic t-shirt features a huge face of Popuko on the front, with Pipimi sneaking in from the back. This unisex shirt comes in small, medium, large, and extra large sizes, and is made of polyester. It will cost 6,480 yen (about USD $59).

Pop Team Epic is getting its own television anime in January 2018.
