Can’t make it to this weekend’s Fate/Grand Order Fes. 2017 anniversary celebration in Tokyo? Don’t worry. We went and made sure to bring our camera along.

Today and tomorrow is Fate/Grand Order Fes. 2017, the celebratory event for smartphone game Fate/Grand Order’s second anniversary. To mark the occasion, an event hall was filled with booths and merchandise and an event stage where various Fate-related things are being made.

Here are some images from the event hall floor.

The entrance is decorated with pillars showing a welcoming video.

On the floor, there are various booths displaying replicas and other items, even the costumes from the stage play. Statues and panels were scattered throughout.

You can’t have an event without merch, and there was loads of it. Some were actually for sale while others were displays of upcoming items.

Interested in what led up to Fate/Grand Order? There was mini gallery showing the history of the Fate franchise.

There was also a walkthrough gallery devoted to the history of the game. On the outside, they had displays of every Craft Essence, the various images of Servants, a timeline of the history of the game from announcement to the present, as well as a photo spot where guests could pose holding replica weapons before Noble Phantasm cut scene backgrounds. Inside were scenes with Servants from the various chapters that have been redesigned for the event.

The Fate/Grand Order Fes. 2017 is being held on July 29 and 30, 2017 at the Makuhari Messe in Japan.

Fate/Grand Order can be downloaded from the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store. The anime special inspired by the game—Fate/Grand Order -First Order—can be viewed with English subtitles on Daisuki, Crunchyroll, and AnimeLab.

  1. Wow, this looks great. Personally I’ve recently bought that Jeanne d’Arc figurine inside the glass cabinet (arrives June next year I think), though I’m a little worried the height of the backside of the spear will cause an issue (my cabinet should juuust about manage to fit it).

Also I bought the figurine version of that Rin print on the car, though I don’t see it within the figurine stand. I just hope they do a re-run of the Saber one, because I just missed it as it looks to become a nice set (we don’t know what the third figure of the set will be yet though, if it’s good I’ll buy all 3 for sure).

(Also, please do some comment alternative that doesn’t require Face or Twitter. Those mediums has kinda evolved into being for 35+ people. Youtube, Google+, Minds or Diquis are all decent alternatives.)
