The Revolutionary Girl Utena (Shōjo Kakumei Utena) television anime about a strong heroine fighting in mysterious duels to meet her prince is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. What better way to celebrate some of anime’s strongest female characters than with official lingerie?

Japanese online retailer SuperGroupies has begun pre-orders for Revolutionary Girl Utena collaboration lingerie sets themed after characters Utena and Anthy.

The Utena lingerie is themed after her iconic uniform, and even has a rose in the center.

The Utena set will come with a large postcard with a brand new illustration drawn by the anime’s character designer Shinya Hasegawa.

Anthy’s set comes with a plastic folder with the original illustration on the back, as well as another illustration of Anthy and Utena on the back.

Both sets of lingerie will cost 8,800 yen (about US$80). Pre-orders will last until July 2, and the sets are scheduled to be shipped out to customers in late October.

Right Stuf publishes the Revolutionary Girl Utena anime on DVD in North America, while Viz Media publishes the manga. Amazon has the anime available in digital video format for purchase.
