What’s better than a pink puffball? A pink puffball with an ice cream cone. Banpresto’s “Ichiban Kuji” goods lottery will be bringing us adorable Kirby merchandise themed after frozen delicacies this summer.

Each try at the “Ichiban Kuji Hoshi no Kirby★Ice Cream” lottery will cost 620 yen, and all customers are guaranteed to win a prize of some rank. Here’s a look at what you could win:


A Prize – Ice Cream-y Kirby Plushie (1 type)

This 28-centimeter Kirby has an ice cream cone designed after himself. Is this cannibalism? Maybe we’ll never know.


B Prize – Ice Cream-y Waddle Dee Plushie (1 type)

This 28-centimeter Waddle Dee also has an ice cream cone designed after himself. And a snazzy hat.


C Prize – Totally Tote Bag (1 type)

A tote bag with the logo of the Kirby sweets shop printed big on the side. This bag measures 30 cm in length.


D Prize – Clearly a Clear Pouch (2 types)

These adorable plastic pouches feature original illustrations of the Kirby ice cream shop and Kirby and Waddle Dee turned into ice cream respectively. Winners of this prize can choose one of the two pouches.

When a customer draws the last lot, they are given the “Last One Prize”: a cushion with an illustration specifically drawn for this lottery featuring Kirby and his friends at an ice cream shop.


Fluffy Kirby Is the Best Kirby

The lottery will be available at Lawson, HMV, book stores, hobby shops, and arcades around Japan beginning on July 25, 2017. You can check a full list of stores at the Ichiban Kuji official website (note: page is in Japanese).

Kirby starred in his own anime series in 2001. 4Kids dubbed and broadcasted the anime in North America under the title Kirby: Right Back at Ya! in 2002. The latest main series Kirby game—Kirby: Planet Robobot—shipped last April in Japan and in North America and Europe last June.
