Announced initially at Anime Boston 2017, anime studio BONES president Masahiko Minami revealed that the first new Eureka Seven film—Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution—will premiere in Japan this fall, but also has an international release planned. The film will premiere in North America (Editor’s note: This wording, used in the press release, is intended to refer to the United States and Canada), England, France, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, among other regions, “at the same time as Japan.” FUNimation will distribute the film in North America.

The staff also unveiled a new mecha design for Nirvash the first film:


Three films are planned for the series. The second film scheduled for 2018 while the third and final movie planned to release in 2019.
