The story of Fullmetal Alchemist may have ended in 2010, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t still loved today. If you’re planning to cosplay as a character from the show or want some stealth otaku swag, Japanese online retailer SuperGroupies has great news for you: They’ll be holding pre-orders for pocket watches, wallets, and bags inspired by Fullmetal Alchemist until April 2.
The Edward Elric shoulder bag is modeled after a book with the words “One is all, all is one” on the cover. The bag is made with synthetic leather, and will cost 8,800 yen (about USD $77).
The Envy bag—also made with synthetic leather—is made to emulate Envy’s appearance, including the mark on his/her forehead. The backpack will cost 9,800 yen (about USD $86).
The synthetic leather Roy Mustang backpack is designed to look like the character’s uniform (pocket watch charm sold separately). This bag also costs 9,800 yen.
The pocket watch badge charm emulating the one used as the badge of a State Alchemist in the show is made out of alloy, and comes with a chain and one of two tassels, chosen by the customer. The blue tassel represents Roy, while the red one represents Edward.
Edward or Roy’s card case is perfect for putting business cards in, or even point cards. Each variation will cost 5,800 yen (about USD $50), and they come in a nifty box.
The Edward Elric book multi-card case is perfect for separating your cards into different pockets. This case will cost 4,800 yen (about USD $42).
The Roy and Edward multi-card cases are designed to look like their respective characters’ outfits. Each case will also cost 4,800 yen.
SuperGroupies will accept pre-orders for the items until April 2, and the items are scheduled to ship out in mid-July.
The first Fullmetal Alchemist anime, the remake Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and the movie were all licensed by FUNimation Entertainment for home video release and streaming in North America, but the license expired last year. Crunchyroll streams Brotherhood and the film on its website. VIZ Media publishes the original manga in English. A live-action adaptation of the original manga will be released in Japan this summer.
