  1. Wow! Thanks for the info, didn’t know about a lot of them, and it always a pleasure to see more people interested in Live Actions.
Also waiting to Mogura no Uta 2 BD release (theatrical release was back in December)

    • I’m glad it was informative! I didn’t know about a lot of these until I did research (I had no idea Koichi Yamadera starred in a fishing anime so many years ago) for this article. It’s interesting to see what gets the live-action treatment.

  2. well what about gintama or full matal alchemist aren’t they going to release a live-action as well?

    • Hi,
Since this article is titled “All the Live-Action Adaptations of Winter 2017,” there are only live-action titles for the winter season on here. Gintama is scheduled for summer, and Fullmetal Alchemist is scheduled for December 2017, making it technically either a fall 2017 live-action film or winter 2018 film.

  3. If I am not mistaken, live action Moribito season 2 is currently airing as well. Did it not make the list because it’s a sequel?

    http://www.nhk.or.jp/moribito/season2/en/

    • I’m not sure how relevant these updates are as the article is a week old, but I thought I might as well help complete the list best I could.

Hokusai to Meshi Saeareba is currently airing as well, adapted from the manga of the same name.

Kimi was Pet, or Tramp like us in English Manga, has a 2017 remake drama series on Fuji TV

Gin to Kin, adapted from the manga same name from the author of Kaiji, is airing on TV Tokyo
