The official press release lists the story:
In order to get my revenge, I came to this town!” After being cruelly turned down eight years ago by the beautiful Aki Adagaki, a fat and unattractive boy named Masamune Makabe slimmed down, changed his last name, and returned to his town–this time, however, as a handsome young man. Yes… Everything that he does is all for the sake of making the super-sadistic “Princess of Cruelty” fall in love with him so can dump her in the cruelest way possible and get revenge…
The staff also unveiled the anime’s second key visual:
The anime will premiere in January 2017 on the Tokyo MX channel in Japan. Hazuki Takeoka began the manga with art by Tiv in 2012 in Ichijinsha’s Monthly ComicREX magazine. Ichijinsha published the seventh volume in June. Publisher Seven Seas publishes the series in English in North America.
