Warner Brothers unveiled the first promotional video for Lostorage incited WIXOSS, the third television anime inspired by toy-maker Takara Tomy’s WIXOSS competitive card game. The video features the anime’s opening theme song, “Lostorage” by Yuka Iguchi, the voice of one of the show’s heroines, Chinatsu.

Suzuko: Selector…?
Chinatsu: How many Selectors are there?
Suzuko: Why am I a Selector…?
Chinatsu: What do you mean by “annihilation”?
Suzuko: Why!? No! Chi-chan!
Chinatsu: Suzu… You disgust me.
Suzuko: I can’t quit being a Selector just by winning a battle?
Chinatsu: Just as you feel…
Suzuko: I don’t want to battle!
Chinatsu: Just one more time…
Suzuko: Chi-chan, I-!
Chinatsu: I told you to stop calling me that!
Chinatsu: I’m putting everything on this fight!
Suzuko: I don’t want to fight! Why do we have to battle!?

The story of the WIXOSS anime series revolve around girls who are chosen to become “Selectors,” chosen ones who must battle with other selected youths in card games. However, should they lose, there are serious consequences, and it seems that Lostorage incited WIXOSS will make its players put their memories on the table as compensation.

The previous WIXOSS anime series–Selector Infected Wixoss and Selector Spread Wixoss–inspired an anime film titled Selector Destructed Wixoss earlier this year. FUNimation streamed both television anime as they aired and also released seasons one and two on Blu-ray disc in North America.
