Sad news for fans of cute girls with mechs: The broadcasting and streaming of Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars has been suspended as of episode four according to an announcement letter published on the official website Thursday morning.

The reason given for the suspension is that the anime did not meet the quality that the team had originally aimed for. In order to reach this quality, the production staff has made the decision to end broadcasts of the anime for the time being, create a new production schedule, and restart the anime’s broadcast once again from episode one beginning on September 1, 2016. The home video releases of the anime in Japan will also be delayed by a month.

The production committee apologized to the cast and musicians that have promoted the show, as well as to the retailers for the sudden decision.

Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars is streaming on FUNimation and Daisuki outside of Japan.
