The Bandai Namco Group announced at a press conference in Tokyo on Tuesday that the second season of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans will premiere on October 2 at 5 p.m. JST on MBS, TBS, and other channels within Japan.
The press release for the anime lists the story:
“After each of the youths finds their own goal, they decide to live life to the fullest. However, war and unrest is breaking out in world in which they live.”
The press release also notes that new characters and new mecha will make an appearance in the series.

The first season of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans can be viewed for free and with English subtitles in the US at Hulu, FUNimation, Gundam.info, and Daisuki. The series airs in AU/NZ on AnimeLab.
Update: This article previously mentioned overseas streaming and/or broadcasts in over 100 countries. This information has been removed for the time being, as it is being confirmed with Sunrise at the present time.
Update 2: Worldwide streaming has been confirmed for season 2, but the number of countries is unknown. The streaming platforms and streaming dates have not been currently announced.
